My name is Shelby Reinitz

I am an award-winning director, actor and playwright practicing in Mohkinstis (Calgary). I've been grateful to work with companies such as DIY Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Alberta Theatre Projects, StoryBook Theatre, Sage Theatre and The Shakespeare Company on various productions including Million Dollar Quartet, A Wrinkle in Time, The Lightning Thief, and Constellations.
 

I'm a classically trained musician with over 15 years of experience teaching voice and piano. I've recently begun utilizing these skills Musical Directing and Sound Designing for various projects including The Christmas Skates (DIY Theatre), Love’s Heavy Burden (The Shakespeare Company) and Sense & Sensibility (Canmore Summer Theatre Festival).

Currently I am working to complete a General Studies Music Certificate Program from Berklee College of Music with focus on Electronic Music Production, Sound Design and Film, Game and TV Scoring. In the Fall of 2025, I am starting a Masters program from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe.
